Denali All-Star Cheerleading is based out of Denali Gymnastics and Fitness in Wasilla, Alaska. Founded in 2002 with only 17 members and the strong desire to be the best, our program has grown to over 200 members with three competition teams. Our classes are designed to teach competitive cheer to all ages and abilities.

During our brief history we have developed an impressive reputation for excellence with eight Alaska State Grand Championship titles, numerous national awards, including a second-place showing at CheerPower Nationals, a first-place title at the 2006 CheerSport competition in Atlanta, Georgia, and as a finalist representing Pac West Spirit Group at the Cheerleading Worlds. For the past 2 years Denali team members have occupied 8 of the top-10 spots for the Best Cheerleader in Alaska award, claiming the top spot for the third year in a row and winning all 5 of the scholarship places winning close to $4000 in prizes. We have also helped our seniors to get accepted and work for UCA and NCA, as well as cheer opportunities at schools such as Barton College, Trinity Valley, Hawaii Pacific University, Witchita State, and the University of Kentucky (Wildcats.)

While we love the awards and train to win, we do not place our success in plastic trophies. Success here at Denali means working smart, working hard, and giving your all to the team. When you can do that there's nothing your team cannot accomplish. Dedication to the team concept is where we gain our strength and is the cornerstone of our success.

Relationships are the inspiration that brings us all back again and again. When you join Denali, you become family. We value our relationships with our students and enjoy the years spent with them. It is our privilege to be a part of their lives and one we take with great respect which is why we say “once you are Denali, you are always Denali”. The relationships continue to grow long after you have graduated and moved on further down your path. Those relationships are at the very heart of all we do. Welcome to the “Denali Family”.
